Phanteks RGB LED Strip Combo Set
RGB
Capable of displaying any of the 16.8 million colours. These are multicolour LEDs
The manufacturer does not seem to provide any information on this. I would ask the manufacturer directly.
No, it doesn't have to, that would be optional if you want to control the LEDs via the mainboard. With the second connector on the LED strip, you can connect several of them together. However, a Phanteks enclosure with a compatible controller is a prerequisite. LG
It depends on whether and how many ports the mainboard has for the LEDs. Basically, you can connect the LEDs there or extend them and/or connect them in series.
If your motherboard has an RGB header and Asus Aura Sync, yes.
Yes, but you have to lead the cable out of the housing somehow. The LEDs are not very bright. If you want to do something behind the edge of the table, it's best to buy a longer LED RGB strip. You can find them on Ebay for little money.
You need an Aura Sync-capable mainboard from Asus or an Aura Sync controller. Every manufacturer now has its own interface. MSI has mystic light, Asus has Aura Sync, etc. That's why I would first check what kind of base you are installing in the computer and then buy such peripherals. On the manufacturer's pages there is information about which accessories are compatible with the respective interface (Google: Aura Sync Compatible).
Yes, you can.
Hi Cino1, It depends on your configuration, if you have an Asus motherboard and you want to use Asus Aura Sync you need it, if you have a Msi motherboard and you want to use MSi Light Sync you don't need it. I also suggest that you make sure that your motherboard is Light Sync or Aura Sync compatible.
ASUS Aura! So yes: You can control the LEDs. Of course, there are also "effects" (rainbow, colour shift, etc.). https://www.asus.com/campaign/aura/us/index.html
Unfortunately, it is not yet known when we will receive the LEDs again. As soon as we have more information on this, we will be happy to adjust this here.
It works perfectly for me in combination with ASUS Rampage V Edition 10 and Logitech G810 keyboard. Everything is in sync. How it looks with the specific ASUS products, of course, is an open question. But basically: if your mainboard and the rest are in sync, everything is OK, as well as if the mainboard itself is not illuminated but has ASUS AURA connectors. Mouse and keyboard must of course also be Aura-compatible :-)
You can definitely connect the two cables in series, but as far as I know, the Phanteks cable does not have a connector at the end of the LED strip. Therefore, a Y-4pin cable would be advantageous.
I recommend that you contact Digitec customer service directly, as the community cannot help you with delivery dates. E-mail: digitec@digitec.ch Phone number: +41445759500 (Monday - Friday: 09:00 - 18:00)
In principle, the LED strips can be connected directly to the 4-pin RGB connection of your MoBo. However, you still need an adapter, such as this one, for example: Art-Nr 5839037. The second strip is then connected to the first and so on (daisy chain).
Hi, Two LED strips, each 40 cm long, so a total of 80 cm. lg
You can simply connect the strip to an RGB header and you're done. The strip is designed to be connected either individually or you can also connect up to three strips together and connect them to an RGB header. Additional Stirps can be connected to the 2nd RGB header of the MoBo or simply left free.
Is a Phanteks case with controller required for operation or is an Asus Aura motherboard sufficient?
You do not necessarily need a Phanteks case. According to Phanteks, a mainboard with a suitable 4-pin RGB header is sufficient. This should be available on an Asus Aura motherboard.
Hello Philipp According to Phanteks, it fits Phanteks cases with 4pin RGB connector and mainboards with 4pin RGB header (+12V, G, R, B). The graphics cards usually have only one RGB input but no output.
oh have seen it
