I looked up the technical specifications of the Canon EOS 1300 D here https://de.canon.ch/for_home/product_finder/cameras/digital_slr/eos_1300d/specification.html and it weighs 485g. The gimbal is aimed at about 2.5 kg. If you don't use a 200 - 600 mm lens, it should work fine.
Hello, there is a list of compatible devices on the manufacturer's website. You will find your answer there.
Hello RAXSTYLEZ, Why not? The dimensions of: approx. 133.1 × 99.8 × 78.8 mm and a weight (body) of: approx. 580 g are already OK. The only ''problem'' I could see is, - if you want to film ''action'' and/or motion, the image sequence of the 700 d in video mode with Full HD is ''only'' (~30, 25, 24 fps). If you are filming landscapes, rivers or an interview, for example, this is enough. Mounting the 700 D on the Ronin SC should be possible without any problems. Give it a try. Have fun and get back to me with some feedback. Best regards Shepherd52
Hello Onlyleon, myself I need a Panasonic GH5 with currently a Samyang 12 mm. It works perfectly. The GH5 and lens together weigh 1032 g, very far from the 2 kg limit. The Canon 77d alone weighs 540 g plus a lens (of choice). A problem could lie in the choice of lens, not so much because of the weight but because of the focal length. You still have to be aware that ''normally'' the focal length for filming starts ''just normally'' at 7 to 12 mm (wide angle) and ends ''normally'' at 50/60 mm. (Above that, in my opinion, the Ronin SC is not necessarily suitable, rather use a video tripod or at least a photo tripod with a fluid video head). Don't forget: everything that is mounted on the Ronin must also be balanced !! and the longer the lens is it becomes more difficult.... if you have to deal with a zoom (external) for example, that's why I mostly use fixed focal lengths (7, 12, 14, 17, 25 mm etc.) I have to make everything X 2 because of the MFT cropfactor, so a 7 mm fixed focal length is then 14 mm, etc. etc. Have fun filming. Best regards Shepherd52
Ola, I am currently filming with a Panasonic GH5 and an M. Zuiko 25 mm, 1.2 or an M. Zuiko 7 X 14 mm 2.8 both from Olympus. The 25 mm has a length of exactly 11.791 cm.e. After balancing, the eyecup has a distance to the gimbal of 7 mm . The camera can easily move 360 ° horizontally and approx. 240 ° vertically. The length is not the decisive factor, but the total weight of the camera and lens and any additional accessories such as a microphone, etc. All this has to be balanced first. All this has to be balanced first. It is clear that a lens with a length of 5 cm and one with a length of 17 cm require different settings to be balanced correctly. If you use a telephoto zoom lens that gets longer when you turn it, you have to balance the camera every time, unless you use a lens with an inner zoom, like my 7 X 14 mm. The lens length remains constant and the weight offsetting is minimal. That's why I mostly use fixed focal length lenses. Once you have practiced balancing a bit, made a few little notes for each lens setting, this gimbal is a very good thing. I would not return it. Best regards
The standard version also seems to be unavailable at the moment.
We have not yet found a suitable supplier. According to our product management, however, the article should be available in the next few weeks.

Good question, dear Tzigi. The question is not: "Does the camera fit on it". Think for yourself! But do the functions work? NO they don't. The product is useless if you don't have one of 24 compatible cameras. Really very shameful not to even point this out, Digitec! At some point you lose track in the gimmick comparison frenzy. If you then have to research possible compatibility for all components individually, even though the product should fit according to all available information, then it becomes really tedious!
