Yes directly, but can't you regulate the focus? To do both (on - off + focus) only with combo (i.e. huge structure and many cable connections) is a pity!!! technically possible but the software does not support both.

I confirm what Matthias wrote above. It looks like you won't get all the functions you would with a Panasonic GH5, for example, but you could still start the camera or filming with a remote shutter release. Best regards.
