Hello Onlyleon, myself I need a Panasonic GH5 with currently a Samyang 12 mm. It works perfectly. The GH5 and lens together weigh 1032 g, very far from the 2 kg limit. The Canon 77d alone weighs 540 g plus a lens (of choice). A problem could lie in the choice of lens, not so much because of the weight but because of the focal length. You still have to be aware that ''normally'' the focal length for filming starts ''just normally'' at 7 to 12 mm (wide angle) and ends ''normally'' at 50/60 mm. (Above that, in my opinion, the Ronin SC is not necessarily suitable, rather use a video tripod or at least a photo tripod with a fluid video head).
Don't forget: everything that is mounted on the Ronin must also be balanced !! and the longer the lens is it becomes more difficult.... if you have to deal with a zoom (external) for example, that's why I mostly use fixed focal lengths (7, 12, 14, 17, 25 mm etc.) I have to make everything X 2 because of the MFT cropfactor, so a 7 mm fixed focal length is then 14 mm, etc. etc.
