Application:

The breeding harness with a splint-secured wax block is strapped to the ram's chest. The color marking on the back of the ewe allows the breeder to determine the lambing time or rate. One color is used per breeding period due to the re-breeding. The blocks are used from light to dark for better contrast of the marking.
