I use it as a display, for which the picture quality is ok. For video editing and gaming, I would rather go for Dell's Ultrasharp. They are a bit more expensive but also better - depending on the model, you have a pre-calibrated panel and the response times are still ok for gaming. Alternatively, you can also go for Freesync monitors - provided you have an AMD graphics card. There are also some inexpensive ones;-) Gsync monitors are unfortunately in a completely different price class...

Yes, that works. I have seen that the Pavilion DV6 has an HDMI port. Simply connect the laptop to the monitor via the HDMI cable and get started. With the key combination " (Windows key) + P " you can choose whether the picture should be displayed individually, mirrored or expanded. Mfg
