What is the difference between this and the LC49HG90DMUXEN? As I see it in the spec, they are the same. But they cost different amounts.

Yes, this is possible without any problems, it is a standard function of Windows 10 or 11, you can display two windows side by side and run them in parallel. However, I would not recommend this monitor, because it only offers half a 4K image, so it would be much better to buy a real 4K monitor with 3840 x 2160 pixels, because you see twice as much image content in the height. This one would also have 144Hz and offers real 4K with 3840 x 2160 pixels (virtually a double Samsung LC 49 :) ). Gigabyte M32UC (3840 x 2160 Pixels, 31.50 ")

How deep is the monitor measured in the middle from the screen radius to the back? Unfortunately, the depth specification of the curved monitors is a bit confusing for me....

Unfortunately, I threw away the VESA adapter some time ago. I deeply regret it, it seems impossible to obtain this piece of metal even with colleague Google; there is no response from Samsung. Does anyone have any ideas or can the part be obtained via digitec?

When I connect my laptop to this screen via HDMI, the picture is not stretched across the whole screen. Is this due to missing drivers or settings. I have a Zeyphrus Duo notebook. Can anyone help me with this?

This sounds very much like a driver problem. Have you installed the latest graphics driver?

I have read with other monitors that if you split the screen (e.g. PS and Pc) the refresh rate is reduced. Is that also the case with this one?

Yes, it is the case with this monitor. I use it for home office, my private pc on one half, laptop on the other. So you have two 1920 x 1080 images. The refresh rate is a maximum of 60 fps/hz in this mode.

Hmm. Right, there's nothing about HDR here at digitec. But it is an HDR monitor. I bought it a while ago and it has HDR.

There are no USB ports listed in the connections. Does this monitor really have no USB ports or have they just been forgotten?

Do you get 60Hz with the HDMI 1.4. with the resolution 3840x1080 or only 30Hz? If possible, test with a notebook with an Intel UHD620 :)

Good day together I have connected the screen in the office with 2 x HDMI cable to the station and the resolution is very poor, i.e. very pixelated. I also connected it with the DP and the Mini DP to another docking station, unfortunately no change is visible. We are working with fairly new Mac Books Pro, is it possible that the screen is somehow not compatible with Apple? Thanks for your help.

Hoi - It is possible that the Mac cannot output the resolution 3840X1080 - and chooses a different resolution, and therefore the part appears "blurred"? Have you ever tried the tool "EasyRes"? With it, I can go to resolutions that otherwise don't work...

Are there actually no such monitors with a USB-C connection so that you can also connect and charge a laptop with it? I just don't understand this in 2021, or have I overlooked something?

Hello Zuphi77 Yes, welcome to 2021, you didn't miss anything, that's unfortunate. We had a different problem yesterday, we couldn't get the sound working for 3 days. Until we realised that the monitor has no speaker output at all :-) Best regards
