I don't see why it shouldn't work. My transmitter works fine for various purposes. And I have never noticed any sound delay.
With which other transmitters Megaboom is compatible, a product manager for this area would have to answer...
I use the adapter with Sony headphones that support aptX and can watch TV very well with them (no noticeable delay). However, I cannot say how well the adapter works with headphones without aptX (e.g. Apple products).
As you can see, the thing has a switch: "TX/RX"= transmit or (!) receive. It does not run synchronously, it is too simple for that. But it's enough. What bothers me about the external Bluetooth receivers, which has nothing to do with Hama, is that they send very quiet signals to the system.
You have to turn the system up very loud, and don't forget to turn it down again afterwards. Otherwise the neighbours will start a riot ;-) All the best! Bliibet diahi
Hello Roger.kalter,
Since you write DAB audio, I guess you have a dedicated DAB receiver in your car. If there is a jack audio output and your car radio is Bluetooth capable, you can use this device to transmit the signal from your DAB receiver to the car radio.

Hello Tobi,
I can't test this here, but in principle it should work if the AUX port of the PS4 outputs an audio signal (I don't see in the technical data whether this is an input or output). We are not aware of any connection problems with the Three Box.
Regards
Andy
We connected the transmitter to an Ipod Nano to go with it to Bluetooth headphones. This works flawlessly and can also be connected to multiple headphones.
Hello, I have the Hama Bluetooth audio transmitter/receiver plugged into the AUX of my car radio (VW California T5) with which I connect an Apple Iphone 12 via Bluetooth.
Music from e.g. Spotify, Google Maps instructions run perfectly and the sound/instructions come through on the car's speaker system. Unfortunately, I can't get a call (sound only) to come through on the car's speaker system as well. Has anyone had the same problem or a tip on how to get the sound onto the car's PA system as well?
Before I got the Hama Bluetooth audio transmitter/receiver, I connected the iPhone directly to AUX with a transition plug (without Bluetooth), and this also worked so that the sound came through to the car's loudspeaker system.
I am grateful for any tips
Hello Annika,
According to the instructions (https://fr.hama.com/webresources/article-documents/00137/man/00137473man_cs_de_en_es_fr_nl_pl_ro_ru_sk.pdf) point 5.3:
1. the adapter must be in TX mode (see switch on the side RX-TX)
2. the device to be paired must be in pairing mode (normally hold down the power button for about 5 seconds...). but this is device specific.
The device must support A2DP and Bluetooth 4.1.
So far I have only had problems with headphones that are explicitly operated on Bluetooth 5 LE. Bluetooth is still quite unreliable when it comes to pairing, especially when different versions meet.
Note: When switching between RX and TX mode, the device deletes all pairings.

Perhaps I am currently slow on the uptake:
I've been looking for an adapter to connect my Bluetooth Jabra Evolve 65 to my business notebook for a long time (unfortunately, it's disabled/blocked by the USB dongle). A USB cable works, but that's not the point of a wireless headset. So now I am desperately trying to find a solution.
How should I understand this Hama Bluetooth audio transmitter/receiver device? It can either transmit or receive, but not both at the same time? I simply want to connect my Bluetooth headset to my notebook. Can I do that with this thing? And can I then hear AND speak via my headset? Who has already done this? Hope the question was understandable? Alternative solutions are also very welcome!
Hello,
Have you already paired the two headphones?
If so, please disconnect both again and delete the pairing list of the adapter to be on the safe side.
To do this, switch off the adapter in the current mode (TX or RX). After about 3 seconds, set the switch (1) to the other mode and switch the adapter on again. All paired devices are now deleted from the list.
Now connect the two headphones to the adapter at the same time:
- Select the TX mode of the adapter by moving the switch (1) to the left.
- Switch on the two headphones and activate the pairing mode.
- The adapter and the headphones should not be more than 1 metre apart.
- Press the multifunction button (2) of the switched-on adapter twice. After approx. 3 seconds, the status LED (3) flashes blue to indicate pairing mode.
- The adapter automatically names the two terminals A and B and establishes a connection.

Hello Jontrachsel,
That may depend on the record player.
The audio signal from turntables differs from that of other audio sources and must first be converted into a "normal" audio signal. That is why amplifiers have their own phono input. Depending on what kind of turntable you have, it will already deliver the correct signal, or it will still deliver the phono signal. If it has a 3.5 mm jack output (e.g. headphone jack), then it should work as you imagine.

Hello Sascha,
This is a complex problem and I'm not quite sure I'm interpreting correctly.
1) If you connect the adapter directly to the speakers (I assume they are active speakers and the second speaker is powered by the first one via cable), you can play music directly on them with your mobile phone without turning on the TV.
2) What exactly do you want to connect to the TV? You already have the adapter on the speakers. Or do you want to connect a second one to the TV to make it BT-compatible?
3 Sound delays are a complex issue. I would answer your question with "Yes, but" (Bligg says hello ;-)). The "but" refers to the unknown components. If they are equipped with current BT standards, the probability is high that the latencies are not noticeable. Otherwise, this could be a problem.
Among other things, the complicated transmission path of the sound is to blame for such latencies (delays). In addition, Bluetooth operates in a frequency band that is also used by almost all other wireless technologies. New Bluetooth standards cope better with this than old ones.

Hello Elisa2407,
Yes, you can.
You don't need a display to connect the transmitter to the BT speaker.
Here are the instructions:
- To connect to the respective terminal, connect it to the adapter via the enclosed 3.5 mm jack cable and the audio connection (AUX) (4).
- Select the TX mode of the adapter by sliding the switch (1) to the left.
- Switch on Bluetooth® on your Bluetooth® headphones/speakers.
- Please refer to the operating instructions of your end device.
- The adapter and the Bluetooth® headphones/speaker should not be more than 1 metre away from each other.
1 metre from each other. The smaller the distance, the better.
- Press the multifunction button (2) of the switched-on adapter twice. After approx. 3
seconds, the status LED (3) flashes blue to indicate the pairing mode.
- The connection is now automatic.

• Connect your terminal device to the adapter using the included 3.5 mm jack cable and the audio
connection (AUX) (4).
• Select the adapter’s RX mode by moving the switch (1) to the right.
• The adapter and the terminal device should be no further than 1 metre apart. The shorter the
distance, the better.
• With the adapter on, press the multifunction button (2) twice. After approximately 3 seconds, the
status LED (3) will emit flashes of alternating blue and red light to indicate the device is in pairing
mode.
• Open the Bluetooth® settings on your terminal device and wait until BTI-020V appears in the list
of Bluetooth® devices found.
Ich hoffe es hat geklappt. Denn wenn es gepaart ist, funktioniert das Gerät meiner Erfahrung nach perfekt. Viel Spass damit.
