I am not aware that Carplay or Android Auto is permanently installed in the vehicle.runs via mobile connection.and Google Maps also runs via Carplay.also have Google Maps on my Iphone.
Unfortunately does not work with Android aftermarket head-up displays. I therefore had to return it.
