The adapter allows you to connect your smartphone wirelessly to your car's infotainment system, but only for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
This means you can use navigation, music, messages and other supported apps on the car display, but no general screen mirroring as with AirPlay or Miracast.
Netflix or other video apps that are not directly supported by CarPlay or Android Auto cannot be shown on the car display.
The adapter only converts existing wired CarPlay or Android Auto functions into a wireless connection, but does not add any new functions such as screen mirroring.
