My fortune-telling ball is still in service, but "at some point" the prices will surely go down again. At the moment, demand has risen markedly due to Ethereum mining, and so has the market price. This "mining run", which was mentioned in various IT media, seems to be slowly returning to normal. In addition, the new AMD card generation should be available in the coming weeks and put (unfortunately only minimal) price pressure on NVidia, which will then hopefully also be reflected in the retail prices. But it's all conjecture and "when" exactly it will become cheaper again: Time will tell.
It's not over and it will get worse. Look at the number of transactions week by week on etherscan or the spread of cryptocurrencies worldwide. Don't believe the badmouthing that the media is spreading. No offence meant;)
That should be enough according to various PSU calculators you can find online. If you plan to overclock the CPU/GPU, however, you should effectively switch to a 500/550W power supply.
If you mean SLI, yes, but you still need an SLI bridge, but SLI is unnecessary in my opinion and even more so for a 1070. ASUS ROG HB SLI Bridge (8cm)
Basically, yes. Check whether the card fits into the housing at all and whether there is an 8-pin PCIe power connection from the power supply unit.
No one here will be able to answer that. Come to the website from 23 November 00:00 and you will see. :)
Take the masses of your current graphics card and compare them with masses in specifications ; D
It would be Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. The Promotion site at ASUS doesn't seem to work at the moment though. -> https://promotion.asus.com/en/ch/call-of-duty-black-ops-4-dominate-with-the-best Translation of the promotional description of the german page of Digitec: When you buy a selected Asus product, you get Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 for free. The power supply should have 2x(6+2)pin connections, so it fits :). Attention: if you have the 430W version of this power supply, you might run out of power, as the GTX1070 demands a lot more power.
I would take the 8G. (On a limited budget)

Specified: 175 watts (179 watts when re-measured), this should not be a problem with a 450-500 watt power supply.
Here are the dimensions: Width 40.5 cm Length 23.3 cm Height 9 cm
salute senge what pablo says is true, but the only difference is that the O8G already comes with OC. But you can overclock the 8G on your own with the programme that comes with it. I think the manufacturer puts the chips that have fewer defects under the microscope in the O8G and the lower quality chips in the 8G. Unfortunately, certain chips and computer parts cannot be produced 100% free of defects, which is why the manufacturer then offers different quality levels at different prices (in this case from nvidia). asus then buys from them and uses different qualities in differently priced graphics cards in order to be able to offer a broader price range. of course, this does not happen in front of the end consumer. I hope you know more now. I have an 8G and overclock it to the limit without any problems...the cooler that asus uses really helps. but maybe you should think about the length of the card, because it didn't fit in mine ;)
Yes and no. Basically, both cards are the same product. The main difference lies more in the selection of components such as RAM and the processor that were installed (selection criterion), which were sorted out, which are somewhat higher quality in the O8G and thus also guarantee the higher overclocking. The O8G is therefore also overclocked higher by default and accordingly set in the firmware. In most cases, the firmware can even be flashed from the O8G to the 8G, but the overclocking can sometimes be unstable and show artefacts in the image on the normal 8G. There are small but subtle differences in the electronics, even from O8G to O8G. Sometimes you can get a bit more out of one than the other, for example from another customer.
Theoretically, that should be feasible. But only theoretically
Hello The O8G is operated with a higher overclock. MFG Domi
I don't see a question here? If you want digitec to add the specs, you'll have to contact customer service ;)
