The following question: I use the following system: digitec X0500 (Intel Core i5-7600K, 16GB, SSD, HDD) Now I'm not sure if the CX450 Watt power supply has enough power so that the computer doesn't go up in smoke (I also installed a 1TB SSD)? The network says it works with this (somewhat more valuable) power supply without problems. But mostly I read that it needs at least 500W for safe use. I'd be happy to receive any reports or tips. Thank you!
That should be enough according to various PSU calculators you can find online. If you plan to overclock the CPU/GPU, however, you should effectively switch to a 500/550W power supply.
