The only difference between the card and the OC version is that it is not overclocked as much, right? Otherwise everything is the same?

Yes and no. Basically, both cards are the same product. The main difference lies more in the selection of components such as RAM and the processor that were installed (selection criterion), which were sorted out, which are somewhat higher quality in the O8G and thus also guarantee the higher overclocking. The O8G is therefore also overclocked higher by default and accordingly set in the firmware. In most cases, the firmware can even be flashed from the O8G to the 8G, but the overclocking can sometimes be unstable and show artefacts in the image on the normal 8G. There are small but subtle differences in the electronics, even from O8G to O8G. Sometimes you can get a bit more out of one than the other, for example from another customer.
