Without guarantee that it works, because I have not tried it. But a smartphone hotspot normally works like a normal WLAN and should therefore also work as a WLAN for the Toniebox. It only needs the WLAN briefly anyway to download the content of new figures once. In the worst case, you could also do this at a friend's house or at the office if the hotspot doesn't work.

1. yes, with kreativ-tonies you can download any music/audiobooks with an app on your mobile phone or directly on your pc. provided you have the audio file. you can also read/record stories with the app. 2. you can't download stories from spotify. you can either buy males or download the audio file from a cd to your pc or buy it on a platform like apple music. 3. the tonie box you buy in switzerland will also work in london, but you will probably need an adapter for the charger.
