SIRIUS Soft Starter S00 9 A, 4 kW/400 V, 40 °C AC 200-480 V, AC/DC 24 V screw terminals. The SIRIUS 3RW30 soft starter is designed for standard applications to provide a smooth start for three-phase asynchronous motors. It allows for stepless starting, reduces current peaks, avoids voltage fluctuations during startup, relieves the power supply network, and decreases mechanical stress on the drive. Additionally, it offers significant space and wiring savings compared to star-delta starters and frequency converters, maintenance-free switching, and ease of use. The integrated bypass ensures a compact design and lower heating in the control cabinet. It has worldwide approvals (e.g., IEC and UL/CSA). The 3RW soft starters are available for networks up to 690 V across a wide power range with different control supply voltages and are consistently equipped with screw and spring terminals. For the 3RW30/40, additional variants with 24 V control supply voltage are available. Some of the 3RW40 up to size S3, as well as all 3RW44, also offer thermistor motor protection. With the optional connection module, the soft starters can be mounted on circuit breakers, even for the variants with spring terminals.
