The Osram Night Breaker Speed (H7) LED lamp is currently not approved for use on Swiss roads. According to the Swiss Ordinance on the Technical Requirements for Road Vehicles (VTS), replaceable light sources must comply with the international ECE regulations, but there is currently no corresponding ECE directive for LED light sources of this type. For this reason, these LED lamps may only be used off-road in Switzerland and are not permitted on public roads.

I have installed these as high beams. Safety is more important to me. I have also installed an approved LED instead of the H4 on my motorbike. It's not approved for my motorbike year, but for its successor. I actually saw on the MFK that the dispersion and maximum brightness are tested. It will certainly fit, as it is approved for other lamps.

Because the lamp actually works perfectly and also complies with the necessary standards. The lack of Swiss approval is pure harassment and can therefore be ignored until the next MFK IMHO.
