Question about Osram Night Breaker Speed
I would like to replace the dipped beam headlights in my BMW e46 with Osram Night Breaker H7 LED Speed, but somehow it is not quite clear to me whether these are permitted in CH or not, as I read different things. Is the ECE certification sufficient? Or does the headlight including these bulbs have to be re-approved?
My enquiry with Astra revealed the following: they will only be approved in Switzerland once they are internationally recognised. At the moment, they are only authorised regionally. So not Europe-wide, but only in some countries. I was a little surprised at the answer, because it includes virtually all European countries.
