The sets include a hole saw made of tough, shatterproof, and stable HSS bi-metal for creating openings, as well as a matching hole saw arbor with a centering drill for holding the hole saw. The saw teeth of the hole saws are made from high-quality M42 (Co8) material.

Use of the compression spring: This prevents the cut material from jamming between the inner wall of the hole saw and the drill. The material is ejected by the spring force. If this effect is not desired for a specific application, such as with already installed pipes, the spring can be easily removed by hand without additional tools.
