Product details
The Mova LiDAX Ultra 800 is a state-of-the-art autonomous lawnmower designed for gardens of up to 800 m². This robot lawnmower operates without boundary wires or RTK base stations and utilises advanced 3D LiDAR technology combined with AI-powered vision for precise navigation. Thanks to its 360-degree scanning capability, the Ultra 800 can automatically create maps and apply optimised U-shaped mowing patterns, ensuring a consistent edge cut of 5 cm. The robot detects obstacles in real time and adapts its path to complex garden layouts, enabling efficient and safe mowing. With a weather-resistant design and durable components, the Ultra 800 is suitable for a variety of lawn conditions. In addition, the accompanying mobile app offers comprehensive monitoring and planning functions, allowing users to customise mowing times and zones. This model represents a further development of earlier cordless robot lawnmowers and incorporates improved navigation algorithms as well as enhanced obstacle detection.
- Advanced 3D LiDAR technology for precise navigation
- Real-time obstacle detection and avoidance
- Intelligent charging management with automatic return to the docking station
- Mobile app for customised mowing schedule and zone planning
- High-quality, hardened steel blades for a clean cut.

- Mows neatly in rows
- robust app control
- attractive colour display
- Weaknesses in stone and wood
- Edges are only average
In terms of its app, design and display, the Mova is reminiscent of its competitor from the same manufacturer, Dreame. The LiDAX series offers laser navigation and smart functions at a reasonable price. The Mova mowed the lawn thoroughly, and setting it up was straightforward. However, it lost marks when it came to obstacles: it did not reliably detect stones and branches...

- LiDAR navigation without an RTK antenna
- Reliable obstacle detection
- sliding mower head for edge trimming
- a comprehensive app with lots of functions
- 4G module subject to an additional charge
- more suitable for flat gardens

- No installation of cables or RTK antennas necessary
- Excellent edge cutting performance thanks to movable mower deck
- Reliable obstacle detection protects small animals and objects
- Precise navigation even in difficult lighting conditions or under trees Cutting height up to 10 centimetres, even for longer grass
- Lateral obstacles are recognised later
The Mova LiDAX Ultra 1200 shows how robot lawnmowers are evolving technically. LiDAR navigation is surprisingly reliable in everyday use and has clear advantages over conventional RTK systems, especially under trees. Small weaknesses remain in the case of very shallow obstacles, but overall the LiDAR mower is one of the most exciting new concepts in the smart garden sector.
