Category III, Type 4B, 5, 6 Tyvek® is a unique spunbond fabric made from polyethylene continuous fibers. Tyvek® protective suits are extremely durable, highly tear and abrasion-resistant, and remain intact under controlled movements, as described in the standard for chemical protective clothing, even in challenging conditions. They are breathable, air and water vapor permeable, very lightweight, soft, and flexible. The suits are free from fillers and silicone, lint-free, and equipped with antistatic properties on both sides, making them suitable for use in all EX zones.

An elastic band at the cuffs of the arms and legs according to EN 14126 provides protection against biological hazards. The seams of the suit are additionally tightly sealed, and the zipper cover is adhesive. The adhesive chin flap ensures an optimal seal in the mask area. An additional thumb loop at the arm ends prevents the sleeves from riding up, ensuring safe working conditions.

Areas of application: chemical and pharmaceutical industry, electronics industry, cleanroom applications, nuclear industry (protection against radioactive particles), industrial cleaning, protection against biologically contaminated particles (risk groups 1 and 2), such as in waste incineration plants.
