Kilner

Homemade sauerkraut, kimchi, pickles, carrots, or garlic - with our Kilner fermentation jar, you can easily pickle and preserve vegetables. However, the best part is the taste - extraordinary, flavorful vegetables full of vitamins. The nutrients remain intact or are transformed during the fermentation process. Our Kilner fermentation set allows gases and pressure to escape from the jar without letting oxygen in. This keeps the jar sterile, preventing germs from entering and ensuring the vegetables stay fresh. Fermenting is quite simple; you just need to add water and salt. And of course, the vegetables. The vegetables are sliced thin, mixed with salt, and then the liquid is pressed out. After that, they are tightly packed into the Kilner jar, water is added, and the corresponding ceramic weights are placed on top. These are important to weigh down the vegetables. The jar is sealed tightly with the lid, and the special Kilner valve is placed on top. Now, the jar needs to sit for a few weeks.
