Is the Apple Pencil USB-C really compatible with the iPad Air 5th gen? I received the pencil today and tried to connect it. But it doesn't work. I also tried to charge the pencil first, but it still doesn't work.

The stylus must be connected to the iPad using a cable. It can only be charged with the cable.
