Is it possible to buy e-books on other websites than KOBO via your computer and transfer them to the KOBO reader? If so, how do I proceed?

Yes, you can use e.g. Calibre ( https://calibre-ebook.com/download ) to send an ebook (without DRM) with a mouse click on the reader. If you have an ebook with DRM, you should consult the manual: https://manual.calibre-ebook.com/fr... or the forums on the internet via your favourite search engine.
