I have an iPad gen 9. Works well but my child grabs it every time to watch cartoons. So I am thinking of buying gen 10 or maybe Air. What would you recommend if I mostly watch films and surf the internet on it (not for work)? Or should I better buy something simple for a child? :)

Of course, it would be better to take the 10th generation for yourself :) The screen is bigger (though not by much), it works better, and the colours are more saturated.
Just have purchased one for my kid. Like it better than 9th generation.
