How is the reading of B/W documents? Do you miss the contrast? Have you considered between Air 3 C and Air 3? Higher resolution, but darker vs. better contrast, but no colours?

Helpful answer

I haven't done a 1:1 comparison of B/W vs. colour. The contrast (relatively strong backlight, battery performance ?!) seems sufficient for my purposes in the Air 3 C, but I would probably do without the colours, as the UX is rather modest (a life in dull pastels...).
Other feedback: the document management is not very mature, for example I have not yet found an effective search function.

I bought the Air 3 C because of the comics. If you don't read comics, but only books with text, the black and white model is the better choice.

The contrast on the Air 3 C is very good for pure B/W documents. As far as I know, the resolution in B/W mode is the same as on the Air 3, which I use to read e-books.
The colour mode is a gimmick, I wouldn't recommend it.

I find that reading all documents works very well. Yes, I also thought about the Air 3, but the colour was very important to me.
I'm really happy with the Air 3 C
