Hello, is it possible to operate the tab with a pen, or can you "draw" on the device with a pen?

the Galaxy Tab A7 2020 is not compatible with an S Pen. But you can use a capacitive pen.

Yes, you can. However, only with a passive pen. This is a little less expensive but also much less precise than with an active pen. But it works wonderfully, especially for kids. If you want to write on a larger scale, then the A7 would certainly be nothing. But for occasional drawing etc., the passive pen works perfectly.
An active pen has its own power supply (battery) and the display must be designed for it. That is not the case here. But you can actually use any passive pen you can find. I would pay most attention to the ergonomics for the user.
