Well, kobo is a bad choice, the ladies and gentlemen from Canada cannot reconcile ebook lending with their business interests. Whatever they develop and improve on their readers, they GUARANTEE that any rentals will NOT work. If any lender solves the Kobo problem, Kobo will make sure that their readers will soon no longer be able to do so. There is some official stament about this, but I don't know where it hangs out anymore. The libraries generally know this.

Our local bookseller knows it too. That's why he doesn't sell Kobos, with him it's somehow the other way round than with Kob.
