The battery life depends on the reading behaviour. With average backlighting, it can be as much as 500 pages. But it can also be twice as many pages. If you read for 2-3 hours a day, the battery will last a good 3 weeks.

It depends on your reading behaviour. Wi-Fi and the backlight feel like the biggest power guzzlers. If I read a lot in the evening with the backlight on and Wi-Fi on, it lasts a little more than a week. On holiday, the battery lasts much longer and I can read more because on the beach there is a lot of light and no Wi-Fi is unnecessary. 2-3 weeks are then well within it.
