Do both devices have to be connected to the LAN with this product? Or is it sufficient if one is connected to the LAN and the other can then be connected via WLAN?

Helpful answer
The set consists of a router and a satellite. The router must be connected to the modem via LAN. The satellite does not have to be connected via LAN. It connects automatically to the router (via WLAN).
