Can I use this router with fiber 7?

Sorry Anonymous but you are not quite right. SFP and SFP+ are NOT the same as LAN port. SFP means Small Form Pluggable and was designed for fast Ethernet, Fibre Channel and SONET. Perhaps it is possible to use the SFP+ as a WAN connection with DD-WRT or Openwrt. How else could my gateway with fibre network card be connected directly to the wall connection of Fiber7. That is, my SFP has a transceiver

in it that is configured with DHCP IPV4. That is my WAN port.

In any case, the R7000 is listed as recommendable on the Fiber 7 page (under Speedtest).
If the R9000 has the same connections and makes no compromises compared to the R7000, then it should work.
