I use the tab for navigation on the motorbike and thus intensively for mobile data. I do not use the telephone function. But according to the manual on page 55, a telephone function with video calls is built into the device. I think you need a Bluetooth set with headphones and a microphone. Basically, the device is great if you need a durable, waterproof device. I'm currently using Android 9, and as far as I've read, there are no plans for further OS upgrades. Maybe Samsung will bring a new variant "Active 3"? :-)
