Question about BlackBerry Passport
Can anyone tell me if it still makes sense to buy a blackberry with os10 and if so does anyone know how long you can continue to use these devices that they are reasonably functional and safe for internet browsing and watching videos not playing games when there are no more updates?
WhatsApp will discontinue support in 2018. If you need WhatsApp, don't buy a BlackBerry Passport.
The Android version of WhatsApp can also be installed on the Blackberry and works perfectly for me. The Google PlayStore can also be installed! This means that 2 independent operating systems are running. I also have an additional launcher for the Android apps. So the Passport is actually the non plus ultra! Speaking of no updates: I don't think there should be any problems with the apps for the next 3-4 years. In any case, I am very satisfied with this device, see also the other reviews...
