Billiger geht es kaum, dafür muss der Käufer mit einem mäßigen und kleinen Display ohne Beleuchtung leben. Herkömmliche Bücher sehen auf dem Pyrus mini ordentlich aus; mit komplizierten Layouts kommt er nicht so gut zurecht ? das erschwert die Navigation im Dokument. Nervig: Der Pyrus mini reagiert träge auf die Eingaben des Nutzers und stürzte im Test öfters ab.
Das sehr kleine Gerät ist zwar sehr gut zu transportieren und stellt auch Texte recht gut dar, kann aber aufgrund seines kleinen Displays bei einem aufwändigen Layout nicht überzeugen. Zudem reagiert es sehr träge und stürzte sogar im Test mehrmals ab. Preislich geht es wohl kaum günstiger.

Das größte Highlight des Readers sind sicherlich neben den kompakten Maßen der extrem günstiger Preis. Dafür muss man aber auf Sonderfunktionen wie WLAN oder Touchscreen verzichten. Dennoch ein solides Gerät, das in jede Hosentasche passt.
Winzling. Sehr leichter Mini-Reader mit einfacher Ausstattung. Keine Hintergrundbeleuchtung, kein Touchscreen. Den schmalen Bedientasten sind winzige, schlecht erkennbare Symbole zugeordnet. WLan fehlt und damit auch ein vorinstallierter Buchshop. Kaum Zusatzfunktionen. Akku hält 29 Tage.
