Hello, I have my UDM Pro in the basement and cannot connect the LTE PRO there because there is no reception. However, I have networked my house with Unifi switches, and two floors up I could attach the LTE PRO to a Unfi switch with the best reception. Would that work? Or can I make sure that the data goes through the UDM/firewall and doesn't end up directly in my network without being filtered?

Yes, the LTE Pro should not be connected to ports 9-10 of the UDMP but to the normal ports like an access point. You can connect it to a switch, and even better if it is PoE-capable (that's how I did it).

Good day Can I use the internet completely via 4G with this device? This means that I can cancel my fibre connection and use my mobile subscription with DuoSim? Many thanks

Yes, that is possible and I have used it in a similar way. So after moving and having a home office, I used U-LTE again and again after being supplied with cable. It works wonderfully but not as fast as fibre. There are sometimes problems adopting with the UDM, but it is easy to integrate manually via SSH. In any case, it is very reliable.

Does anyone know when Ubiquiti will release a 5G module? Or is it because of the chip shortage that they haven't brought anything out yet? Otherwise I'll have to take the LTE module.

Our suppliers have not yet announced a comparable 5G model. Unfortunately, we do not know the exact reason why there is no 5G model on the market. Unfortunately, we also do not know whether this could change in the near future.

I read that there is a connector for an antenna, I would like to know what type of antenna I can connect and if an article number can be given so that it gives me an idea.

Indeed, there is an antenna connector for the article. It is an RP-SMA connector for which we have an antenna and a cable for connection. Is it possible to set this device to bridge mode and to trade the "Main-Interneinbound" via this device? We are currently building an infrastructure for a mobile container and will be able to access the internet exclusively via LTE at the start.

According to our enquiry with the supplier, this product offers an internal high gain antenna for excellent coverage. Furthermore, should even greater coverage be required, an optional high-gain antenna can be connected to the RP-SMA antenna connector.

With Unifi Dream Machine, yes. With Swisscom SIM also, but not 5G, because it is a 4G device. What digitec doesn't say is that it needs a PoE input (UDM power input is not enough) rsp in my case it only worked with a 48V PoE which I now found at Brack.
