Helpful answer

The S Pen with the product ID EJ-PP610BJEGEU is not suitable for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+. This stylus is specially designed for the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 10.4 (2020). The Galaxy Tab A9+ does not support S Pens, but you can use third-party universal pens, which do not offer the same functions as a real S Pen.

This model is for the Tab S6 Lite. Generally speaking, the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite does not support any Samsung S-Pen. It does not have the technology in the screen for full support. Full support is mainly reserved for the S series like the Galaxy Tab S8 etc. However, the stylus can still be used capacitively, i.e. it can still be used but without all the functionality that can be found on the Tab S series. It will also probably be less accurate and slower. This means you can tap an icon to launch the app and scroll etc... Basically, it's what you can do with a finger but it won't be an interesting tool for drawing for example.

The pen has no rechargeable battery (and no battery) and therefore does not need to be charged. Always ready for use.

Basic answer: what Samsung has delivered with the new tablet is more than lousy. I have bought all Samsung tablets so far, the S6 is the worst I have ever experienced. SPen keeps losing connection, when charging it keeps showing on the screen how much % is charged. Had already sent it 2x to So. So said, as did Samsung, that it might be replaced the third time it's sent in. Keep your hands off this tablet, speed is not significantly better than the previous tablet. If Samsung doesn't get going here, I'll switch back to Apple or stick with my Surface, which I can really recommend. A bit heavier but always works.
