we have 5 mice in the office. they all "scrub", which means that the scrolling is less random and never stops. it scrolls in slices of several fixed lines at each scrub (bearing). i like this feature.

According to my research and the manufacturer's specifications, the innovation is actually centred around the USB-C port and its advantages. Otherwise, it should make slightly quieter clicks. If your current mouse works well and you're happy with it, I wouldn't upgrade. As a new purchase, of course, choose the USB-C port directly, then you don't always have to have an extra micro-USB cable to hand.

The difference between the MX Ergo S and the MX Ergo lies mainly in the quieter clicks and the improved quick-charging function via USB-C on the MX Ergo S. The dimensions are actually the same, which indicates that the "S" designation does not indicate a smaller design. The MX Ergo S also offers a longer battery life and is compatible with Flow technology, which enables seamless collaboration between devices.
