For me, it was the other way round. With Salt, I would have paid 100Fr. more.
Rather less... Huawei is apparently already working on its own software, which can replace that of Google. If the situation has not calmed down by the deadline, it will probably be used for new devices (or possibly as an update for existing ones). A massive price drop is certainly not to be expected, at most some changes. At least I'm happy not to have a Huawei at the moment. But it's impossible to say whether the other mobile phone manufacturers will be spared. Trump will surely build a wall around the whole of America soon.... :P
In my opinion, the Huawei Mate 20 pro. It's the better package overall anyway. You can check out my review of the Mate 20 pro with sample photos 😉.
the Mate 20 pro uses the charging socket and the earpiece (or whatever the thing is called) as a speaker. Sound quality and volume are quite ok! (even when the device is connected to the charging cable).
Questions about the product range cannot be answered by the Digitec Community. To receive a competent answer, please contact Digitec Customer Service directly: digitec@digitec.ch Many thanks.
no because I am a private person, this mate 20 is for me
Don't buy it. The US sanctions won't go away anytime soon.
I can recommend this Digitec article: https://www.digitec.ch/de/page/huawei-vs-usa-90-tage-aufschubfrist-huawei-ceo-spricht-12087
I was one of the first to order and I was lucky and had no problem with the screen, even though I have an LG.
Hey YaPaY, yes there is a notification LED. To right of the top speaker. But it's not as big as the Galaxy S5 one.
Works every map :)
Good day I can also only confirm that it is the model LYA-L29 and is a Dual SIM hybrid (can also be used with a SIM and Huawei's own 128 GB nano memory card). Kind regards
I have had the phone since day one and ordered it from digitec and was not affected. However, the affected phones can be exchanged without any problems.
Yes, it is there: In the device's own and pre-installed application "Compass", there is corresponding information on air pressure, which the device apparently determines itself. See screenshots: https://ibb.co/ZNFRR2C https://ibb.co/zNQkvdh (I would also kind of like to have a device-integrated thermometer for direct measurements, but that's probably asking a bit much, also from a technical point of view... The temperature is obtained via the location data and the weather app (data presumably from nearest weather station) and is relatively accurate). Happy New Year!
There are no films or bulletproof glass that come close to being usable for this phone. With everything you have limitations or it looks shabby, I've already tried a few things (also from Germany) and just threw money out the window. However, according to the Huawei support team, the glass is very resistant and abrasion-proof, which is why I decided not to use a screen protector. A good cover (impact protection) is sufficient. I hope I was able to help a little. I was also "horribly" annoyed. This was the first and last mobile phone with an "edge display".
No, unfortunately we don't have any information on the Huawei Mate 20 Pro 256GB yet. :-(
Would also like to know if the smartphone will be ready for collection in Winterthur? I have now activated partial delivery in the order because the watch will not be available.
No, unfortunately not...
oops, the question got into the wrong sector, just ignore the question
The sanctions mainly affect new devices. Those that were already available before will continue to receive updates. The Mate 20 Pro should also receive the Android 10 version (or its modified EMUI version from Huawei) as planned... Long story short: Yes, I would still recommend the Huawei Mate 20 Pro if it meets your needs.
Yes they do. I bought a mate 20 pro 3 months ago and the glue is already comming of in several places between the screen and frame of the device. Might I ask how you knew about this problem without having bought one yourself?
If you want to buy this phone, I would do without the additional service. According to various insiders, the update to Android 10 for the 20 series is coming this November. The beta version is already available for the Mate 20 Pro, which you can install yourself if you can't wait until the end of the month ;)
Yes, both Mate 20 Pro and P30 Pro are not affected by the US ban and will ship with Google services as normal.
