Rather less... Huawei is apparently already working on its own software, which can replace that of Google. If the situation has not calmed down by the deadline, it will probably be used for new devices (or possibly as an update for existing ones). A massive price drop is certainly not to be expected, at most some changes. At least I'm happy not to have a Huawei at the moment. But it's impossible to say whether the other mobile phone manufacturers will be spared. Trump will surely build a wall around the whole of America soon.... :P

Yes, it is there: In the device's own and pre-installed application "Compass", there is corresponding information on air pressure, which the device apparently determines itself. See screenshots: https://ibb.co/ZNFRR2C https://ibb.co/zNQkvdh (I would also kind of like to have a device-integrated thermometer for direct measurements, but that's probably asking a bit much, also from a technical point of view... The temperature is obtained via the location data and the weather app (data presumably from nearest weather station) and is relatively accurate). Happy New Year!

There are no films or bulletproof glass that come close to being usable for this phone. With everything you have limitations or it looks shabby, I've already tried a few things (also from Germany) and just threw money out the window. However, according to the Huawei support team, the glass is very resistant and abrasion-proof, which is why I decided not to use a screen protector. A good cover (impact protection) is sufficient. I hope I was able to help a little. I was also "horribly" annoyed. This was the first and last mobile phone with an "edge display".

The sanctions mainly affect new devices. Those that were already available before will continue to receive updates. The Mate 20 Pro should also receive the Android 10 version (or its modified EMUI version from Huawei) as planned... Long story short: Yes, I would still recommend the Huawei Mate 20 Pro if it meets your needs.

If you want to buy this phone, I would do without the additional service. According to various insiders, the update to Android 10 for the 20 series is coming this November. The beta version is already available for the Mate 20 Pro, which you can install yourself if you can't wait until the end of the month ;)
