It is extremely flexible and is generally a good quality product. I use mine to connect Headphones to my PC via Bluetooth. This works very well.
I can't really comment on your exact connection requirements as they are a little unclear but I would be surprised if you can't find a solution that works but be aware that this device is a connectivity enabler and not a amplifier.

According to your question, you connect the Toslink output of the BTA 30Pro to a Toslink input of the amplifier.
