In the end, I managed to pair and connect the device with the Control app on my iPhone and with my Air PODsj. However, after the pairing process and the transfer of the TV sound to the Air PODs, I was no longer able to control/operate the device via the Control App. When I try to do this, I get the message that no connection can be established. What have I done wrong?

Thank you very much. My problem is that I can receive the sound on my Air PODs. But what I can't do is control the device with the control app, neither the volume nor the sound settings, which would actually be important to me - and that's because the device apparently can't send and receive at the same time. But a remote control doesn't really make sense if it can't be used for this purpose, which is why I think I did something wrong during installation.

Have you ever updated the firmware on your Fiio BTA30 Pro?

Hi markusgisel - With Apple Bluetooth headphones, I also had problems connecting to the Fiio BTA30 Pro. I had the Apple AirPods Max v1. The first time I was able to pair the Max with the Fiio normally, but since I had another pair of BT headphones, I used them in between. When I tried to connect the Max again, it wasn't recognised immediately and I had to pair it again or reset it. But the Fiio app is not the best software. So if you have the TV sound on your Air PODs, you should be able to control the sound via TV? With TV, there should be a way to switch to external speakers or regulate the Toslink output and not the speakers on the TV. Otherwise, you still have the Fiio BTA30 Pro, which has a volume control. The Fiio app is only used for certain system settings, such as equaliser e.t.c.

Unfortunately, I can't answer this as I only use it with the music system and my mobile. It works perfectly there.
