The technology is relatively simple, so it should work as long as nothing sticks. However, I wouldn't buy the robot as a mopping robot. The mopping effect is more like a damp dusting, not so intensive that a cleaning agent would be worthwhile. I recommend running it with water from time to time and then cleaning it by hand with detergent at longer intervals. It actually needs it. The D10 copes well with +3cm high thresholds. Thresholds would only be an advantage for noise reduction. The D10 rumbles back and forth to get over the obstacle.

The robot hoover can overcome door thresholds up to a maximum height of around 2 to 2.1 cm. It cannot reliably overcome door thresholds of almost 3 cm. With rounded edges, it can overcome slightly higher obstacles more easily, but just under 3 cm is too high for it.

However, I would only vacuum it, not with the mop function. regarding hair on the carpet - yes, that is a weak point of vacuum roboters. Mapping is probably part of the D10 setup. However, the individual rooms are then mapped automatically or can be separated manually. These can then be cleaned individually.
