No, the drone won't do that... As I have read on forums (http://www.kopterforum.de/topic/53639-traglast-f%C3%BCr-den-ph34/), it can carry a maximum load of about 800g. To let the star "fly by" with a drone, you also have to have a certain flying skill. Wouldn't a rope / hoist or similar be an easier solution? Kind regards

In any case, the altitude is limited to 500m, the distance to 1km, depending on the model (EU). The actual range depends on the environment. 500-1000m should be reached in any case, in optimal conditions the drone can even reach 5km. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTr2vtWFYMU My furthest distance was ~450m at an altitude of 80m - but I have to admit that flying with the naked eye was hardly possible by then.
