Hello. On my own, yes (I had it that way at the beginning).
But for syncing I am not sure. I have 4 different bose that run in sync with wifi and with the app. Theoretically it should work, but it didn't work for me when I tested it (1.5 years ago), so I switched to wifi. Maybe it's just a setting thing.

The SoundTouch family does not have voice control such as Alexa..., nor does the newer generation, or not yet in Europe....
And beware, the SoundTouch family also cannot be paired with the newer generation of Bose Smart Speakers such as Soundbar 500 or 700.These are two different systems.
