Why does the black one cost almost CHF 100 less than the white soundtouch 30 III? Could it be that this one is still a Series II and has been incorrectly declared?

It's not your problem. With the purchase, you enter into a contract and if you get the wrong thing, then the sales contract has not been fulfilled.
