Screens cannot be put into standby mode with a button. Screens only go into standby when there is no signal or when the time for activating monitor sleep has been reached in Windows.
Not with the XBox but with the PS, the only problem there is that the resolution can't be set natively to 2k and then either scales up or down, which sometimes looks really bad.
The screen was a gift so I do not have access to it now. But according to the ASUS web site it has HDR compatability
No it does not have built-in speakers. Plus the resolution is for a 32 inch screen not that great, it would be better to have 3840 x 2160 Pixel resolution with this screen size. This model is a bit more expensive, is a 4K UHD Display with 144Hz and has built-in speakers: Philips 32M1N5800A (3840 x 2160 Pixels, 31.50 ")
According to the operating instructions, there are two HDMI 2.0 ports, and there is also a Displayport port.
One must always be extremely careful with advertising. Basically, you should always look at the specifications and the manual before buying. As you can see here on the last page of the manual, 2560x1440@175Hz is specified, but only via Displayport: https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/LCD%20Monitors/PG329Q/ASUS_PG329Q_English.pdf In this case, the specs and the manual don't agree, as you can see on p.24 in the manual where it says to downgrade to DP 1.2 if DP 1.4 doesn't work. The 175Hz is obviously an overclock function.
Possibly an error when recording? You can enter incorrect data under "Specifications > Report incorrect data", then this is usually checked promptly.
Briefly checked the product description for you: No.
There must have been some unclairities with the price. This has been corrected and the shown price should be the correct one now.
