Yes, it is possible to download the Microsoft 365 package (formerly Office) and the Outlook app to the tablet from Apple's App Store. The tablet with iPadOS 18 and 11" screen supports these apps, but for full editing functionality on screens larger than 10.1" an active Microsoft 365 subscription is required. Outlook is available as a separate free app with a Microsoft account.

Yes, Logitech offers the Combo Touch, a case/keyboard combo with an integrated trackpad (mousepad) that is compatible with the iPad 2025 (11th Gen). This keyboard case has a large, precise trackpad, a detachable keyboard, an adjustable support and protection for the front and back of the iPad. The connection is made via the Smart Connector, so no separate power supply is required.

According to the price development, the price on 28 October was CHF 247. However, as this promotion was limited to a certain number, the price is now different again.

This product does not support wireless charging for the Apple Pencil. The Apple Pencil must be charged via a USB-C cable connected to the iPad or a separate charger, as it does not charge wirelessly when attached magnetically to this iPad model. Additionally, the iPad itself does not support wireless charging or MagSafe accessories.

The device is eSIM-capable and supports eSIM only, it does not have a physical SIM card slot. The iPad 2025 (11th gen) is an eSIM-only model that only uses eSIM technology. This means you can activate and use an eSIM via a QR code from your mobile phone provider, as is common with newer iPads. If you are contradicted when you ask, this may be due to misunderstandings, because according to official information, eSIM is definitely possible and intended.

You can use the first-generation Apple Pencil and the Apple Pencil (USB-C) with the iPad 2025 (11th gen) with Wi-Fi. The iPad does not support the Apple Pencil Pro or the second-generation Apple Pencil. A USB-C adapter is required for charging the first-generation Apple Pencil.

The following Logitech keyboard models in particular are compatible with the Apple iPad 2025 (11th generation): - Logitech Combo Touch for iPad Air 11" (M3, 2025) and iPad Air 11" (M2, 2024). This keyboard is a detachable keyboard with touchpad and offers a good protective function as a cover. It is specially designed for the iPad Air 11" of the latest generations and also works with the iPad 2025 (11th gen). Other Logitech keyboards such as the Slim Folio Pro are designed more for older iPad Pro 11" models (e.g. 2nd generation) and are not explicitly designed for the iPad 2025 (11th gen). To summarise, the Logitech Combo Touch for iPad Air 11" (M3, 2025) is the recommended and compatible Logitech keyboard for the iPad 2025 (11th gen).

The charging cable is included; an existing charger can be used, as the USB plug fits everywhere. If you don't already have a charger, you have to buy one, which in my opinion makes sense and is sustainable.

This iPad does not have Stage Manager, as this feature is reserved for certain more recent and more powerful iPad models, such as the iPad Air and Pro with M2 or M3 processors. With regard to compatibility with an external monitor, information specific to this model is not available in the data provided, but generally speaking, recent iPads can be connected to an external monitor via USB-C or other adapters, depending on the model's capabilities.

The Apple Pencil Pro is only compatible with certain iPad models released in 2024 or later. As the exact model number and release year of the iPad is not explicitly stated, I cannot say for sure whether the Apple Pencil Pro is compatible with this specific iPad. It would be advisable to consult the official Apple website to check the exact compatibility.

For the Apple iPad 2025 (11th gen), Apple does not currently have its own keyboard that is officially intended for this model. The Apple Pencil (USB-C) is compatible with the iPad 2025. However, the Apple Pencil Pro or 2nd gen is not supported.

Is the Ipad suitable for school?

Helpful answer
The iPad is suitable for school as it offers a variety of functions that are useful for education. It supports Apple Pencil and keyboard accessories, making it ideal for note-taking and creative tasks. It also offers stable performance thanks to the A16 Bionic chip and enough storage space for school materials. However, it lacks some advanced functions that are available in other iPad models.

Hello Theo this is an iOS device, not Windows. Parts of Microsoft 365 are available on iOS. If you already have a Microsoft 365 plan, the iOS versions are already paid for. Printing from iOS devices depends on the printer: HP offers corresponding apps and this works well. Broadband connectivity is available via WLAN or SIM card: WLAN only devices do not have a SIM slot (or eSIM). Listening to music via loudspeakers is possible without any problems, also via bluetooth headphones - for pens and wired headphones, check exactly what fits for each model - the chance that it won't fit is high and compatibility is close to zero. Reading the daily newspaper without scrolling: I have deliberately saved this question for last: which daily newspaper do you read: with longer print articles from the NZZ you will have to scroll almost all the way round on the 90" display - with other suppliers a 6" display is sufficient. Take a look at the device in the showroom and open the website of your favourite newspaper with any visual aids. Rolf wishes you lots of fun with the new device
