To make the Slim patch cables suitable for use in harsher environments, we now offer the option to have our Slim patch cables with an additional nylon sheath. The woven nylon sheath makes the cable more robust without adding too much bulk. At the same time, the special sheath prevents the cable from tangling easily and allows for simple unwinding. Therefore, this type of cable is also ideally suited for applications outside of server racks, such as in laptop bags or for flying patch cable connections that are frequently changed.
