Nothing and Qualcomm are working together. This collaboration is expected to bear fruit as early as spring 2022 with the release of the first Nothing smartphone.
Will it be called Nothing Phone (1)? Will it be transparent? Will it be released in early 2022? These are the big questions concerning tech manufacturer Nothing. In any case, the fact is that Nothing is working on a smartphone. Company founder Carl Pei first made a name for himself with the OnePlus brand. Nothing has also purchased all the rights to the smartphone brand Essential (which went bankrupt) and its technologies. A purchase that, according to Carl Pei, was made just for the patents.
According to leaker Mukul Sharma, the Nothing Phone will be launched in spring 2022. Exact specs are not yet known. However, the system-on-a-chip (SoC), i.e. the heart of the phone, is likely to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon. Nothing announced a collaboration with Qualcomm just a few days ago.
In addition to the phone, leaker Mukul Sharma claims to have information on a Nothing power bank. It will reportedly be called Power (1).
Currently, the Ear (1) earphones with ANC are the only Nothing product on the market.
