While all three models of the S23 had a frame made of specially hardened aluminium, Samsung is now using titanium for the first time on the S24 Ultra.

Artificial intelligence without the cloud

The hardware is therefore unlikely to bring any major surprises on 17 January. The situation is different with the software, about which little has been leaked. Samsung is said to be equipping the S24 with artificial intelligence.

The AI assistant is permanently installed on the devices, improves photos, helps with writing emails and summarises documents. Phone calls can be translated in real time - all without sending data to the cloud. That would definitely be a very exciting approach.
