Galaxy S24: Europe will not get Snapdragon 8 Gen 3
Samsung is only equipping the Galaxy S24 with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in the USA and Canada. The rest of the world gets the Exynos 2400.
A leaked overview of the Galaxy S24 puts in writing for the first time what was previously only suspected: Samsung is once again delivering its new top smartphone in two versions. There will probably be certainty at the launch on 17 January 2024, followed by a detailed comparison of the two variants.
Return to its own chipset
The first benchmark test results are also available for the two chipsets - and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 performs better again. However, both are at a level where no difference should be noticeable in everyday use of the Galaxy S24.
- Exynos 2400: 2067 / 6520 points with Geekbench 6
- Snapdragon 8 Gen 3: 2329 / 7501 points with Geekbench 6
Detailed comparisons of the two variants of the Galaxy S24 can be expected from the end of January
