Uvex UV protection glasses feature UV-absorbing filters that are integrated directly into the material, providing 100% protection for the retina against UV damage up to 400 nm. All uvex glasses offer 100% protection against UVA, UVB, and UVC rays.

The uvex full mirror FM utilizes a reflection technology that impresses both in design and functionality. The lens, coated with 18 film layers, has a visual effect and also protects against infrared radiation with wavelengths from 780 nm to 1000 nm. Special pigments in the polymer lens activate a filter that eliminates and absorbs this radiation. Thermal stress is significantly reduced, helping to decrease dehydration and eye fatigue while preventing gray haze.
